Everyone and NO ONE is her doctor…..
I was nearly driven into a coma last night because a patient left me feeling totally drained after I attended to her.
She is a 50 something EXTREMELY obese patient with of course, uncontrolled high blood pressure……..non-compliant with her meds…(ARGH!!!). The worst part is that she brought her meds, none of which had been prescribed by a doctor.
Her friends prescribed some pain meds for her and after watching Dr. Oz on TV she decided to start taking Aspirin. She can’t recall the last time she visited a doctor…….ARGH!!!!
She also came to visit me while holding a soda……..
It was a long long night….
